Shinsedai returns for a 5th year with a new look!

Things may have been quiet on the Shinsedai Cinema Festival website since our 4th annual festival wrapped in July, but that's only because we have been hard at work behind the scenes on our 5th year!

We are now happy to announce that the Shinsedai Cinema Festival, Canada's only independent Japanese film festival, will be returning in 2013. Between July 11th and July 14th Toronto audiences will be able to immerse themselves in the work of Japan's best new, emerging film talent at The Revue Cinema (400 Roncesvalles Avenue).

To get everyone ready for what will be an amazing year of new Japanese film in Toronto we're happy to reveal our 2013 poster design, specially created by Festival Director Chris MaGee and Toronto-based designer Shaun Sayer.
